He named it after his three red girls. "Rubies are red. garnets are red, and roses are red."

2. What does Rose call Dad for a nickname?

Answer: Rick

His name is Richard, and Ruby, Garnet and Gran don't like him being called Rick or Ricky.

3. What did Ruby want to paint in school?

Answer: A flea

Ruby said she wanted to paint a flea because "you could just paint one dot and you're done". Garnet said she wanted to paint a giraffe because they were the twins' favourite animal.

Dad actually gave them a chance, but Garnet was so shocked to see him that he messed up. Ruby wasn't pleased!
