Hannah and her best friend Joey found the three kittens at school, in the dustbins. They hid them in the warm art room which they were secretly cared for by Miss Quinn, their favourite teacher. The kittens were named: Itchy, Scratchy and Krusty, after the "Simpsons" characters.

Paul's mother was depressed and left her clothes on the beach, walked into the sea and drowned. However, Paul was found alive.
