Answer: the end zone

The rectangular shapes on either end of the field that are called end zones. The end zone is 10 yards deep and is usually decorated.

Answer: a jacket in case it gets cold

Players never wear anything over their jerseys, but they do sometimes wear long sleeve shirts underneath to stay warm.
3. Which of these teams is NOT a team in the National Football League?

Answer: Chicago Bulls

The Bulls are a team in the NBA. The Lions and Packers are part of the NFC and the Chargers are in the AFC, conferences in the NFL.
4. Which of these positions is one that doesn't get the ball passed to them?

Answer: cornerback

The cornerback plays on defense, breaking up passes. The tight ends and wide receivers get passed to the most and running backs don't get passed to much but still get some passes.
5. What is the name of the person that kicks the ball away to the other team, usually on fourth down?

Answer: punter

The guards and tackles stop the offense from gaining yards and the kicker kicks field goals and kickoffs. A punter punts the ball to the other team.
6. How long is a football field (not counting the end zones)?

Answer: 100 yards

Including end zones, a football field is 120 yards long. A football field is the same size from middle school all the way up to the pros. A field is divided up into 10 10-yard segments, to mark 1st downs.

Answer: New England Patriots

The New England Patriots beat the Philadelphia Eagles to win Super Bowl 39.
