2. In which sport, invented in 1891, did you originally have to throw a ball into a ten foot high peach basket?

Answer: Basketball

Basketball was invented in Massachusetts as a game to play indoors on rainy and snowy days. When they used peach baskets, the game had to be stopped after every basket because someone had to climb a ladder to pull the ball out of the basket. Fortunately, the game goes a lot faster now and is more exciting for the fans.
3. In which sport do players need to run around a diamond until they go home?

Answer: Baseball

The baseball championship known as The World Series is just for teams from the US and Canada. However, the Little League World Series is for kids 11-13 and has teams from all over the world. 5. Which sport has a field with markings one yard apart and lines across the field every ten yards?

Answer: American Football (Gridiron)

The gridiron football field has lots of lines on it to help players see how far they need to move the ball. In order to keep the ball the team needs to move the ball ten yards every four plays. In Canada, the rules are slightly different, the teams only get three plays to move ten yards.
6. Which sport features drivers going round and round and round and round and sometimes crashing?

Answer: Auto Racing

Answer: Miniature Golf

10. Which game involves using one piece of plastic used to flip another piece of plastic into a cup?

Answer: Tiddlywinks

In tiddlywinks you hold one piece of plastic in your hand and use it against the edge of the "wink" on the table to get the wink to spin in the air and land in a cup at the center of the table. You can play tiddlywinks against your friend or team up with a friend against another team.
