Albus Dumbledore was referring to an earwax-flavoured sweet he had just eaten from a packet of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans. He mistook it for a toffee-flavoured sweet. Harry offered it to him while they were in the hospital ward towards the end of the book. He said he had always had a particular disliking for them ever since he came across a vomit-flavoured one as a child.

She said it on the Hogwarts Express while reading 'The Quibbler', which is the magazine that her Father, Xenophilius Lovegood, edits. This was when she first met Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Neville Longbottom. Ginny Weasley was there as well, but they were already close friends. Hermione Granger was there too; she knew Luna's name but it is not certain that they had met before then.

He said this just before Severus Snape killed him. Draco Malfoy was ordered, by Lord Voldemort, to kill Albus, but Snape killed him using the charm 'Avada Kedavra'. It seemed that Draco didn't want to kill Dumbledore; when he was alone with Dumbledore minutes before he died, Draco said, "I haven't got any options! I've got to do it! He'll kill me! He'll kill my whole family!".

When Harry overheard Hagrid telling Madam Maxime that he had never met another half-giant like himself, she was horribly offended and said that she was not a half-giant, and that she simply had big bones. Harry, hearing this, muttered the above quote to himself, as he was alone.

He was wearing the invisibility cloak that he inherited from his father; therefore, Hagrid couldn't see him and didn't know he had heard this. It happened in the book but not the film.

Draco Malfoy said this. He and Harry had always had a notorious mutual hatred for each other. Hermione, being best friends with Harry, also got negative comments from Draco. He always hated her for being a muggle-born. This means that both of her parents are muggles (non-magical people).

She said it to her brother, Ron. She was mad at Ron for being mad at her for snogging (kissing) Dean Thomas in public. Ginny replied to this by saying the above quote because it seemed that snogging was all Ron and Lavender did for an incredibly long time.

She says 'Merlin's Pants' which isn't said by any one else in any other Harry Potter book. Ron then mocks her and asks, 'What in the name of Merlin's most baggy Y-fronts was that all about?'

He said it to Peter Pettigrew in 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'. Peter is an animagus; he takes the form of a rat. He went into hiding after Lord Voldemort was defeated by Harry. He hid with the Weasley family (who were unaware that he was Pettigrew) and was Ron's pet rat, whom he named Scabbers.

He said this in the first 'Harry Potter' book in the series. Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was a wise man who said many wise things and started his next great adventure in 1997. The world suffered a terrible loss when he died.
