The first mutagen shown in the episode was purple, but the mutagen that was knocked out the window and spilled on the garbage man was green. The purple mutagen had the ability to de-mutate an animal, the green is what caused mutations in the first place. The garbage man turned into a giant mutated pile of trash.

Muckman was upset because he saw the Turtles go into the building that the mutagen was thrown out of. After the Turtles were able to talk with him, he decided they weren't all bad and they all became friends.

Donnie was in his lab when he heard a loud crash. He went into the main room of the lair expecting to see Raph causing the issue, but instead he saw Leatherhead who had crashed into the room. Leatherhead told him and the others about the kidnapping of Slash and Doctor Rockwell that had happened in the previous scene.

Slash and Dr. Rockwell of the Mighty Mutanimals were also under the control of the serum. The serum was administered by feeding it to worms and then letting the worms crawl into the ear canal of the mutants. Using a particular type of noise caused the worms to wiggle out of their ears and saved them from the mind control serum.

Even before he mutated, Jason (Mondo Gecko) was a big skateboarder. Mikey and Casey met him while all three were skating. He had become a gecko because he had a pet gecko that was with him when the mutagen was spilled on him.

Karai in her mutant form is a giant serpent. She used the snakes to poison Casey, April and all of the Turtles during the episode. After Leo drew enough strength to defeat her, she escaped while he saved the others.

Of course that proclamation turned false just moments later. Mikey fell in love with the time traveller from the future named Renet. Mikey had been making fun of Leo for having feelings for Karai and Donnie for his feelings for April.
