They claimed to be undercover government agents and convinced the sheriff to let them investigate around town without interference. It wasn't explained how they came back from the dead after Cassidy killed and dismembered them.

The trooper told her he clocked her going 115 miles per hour in a 55 miles per hour zone. He was going to arrest her and impound the car, and she had a pistol ready to stop that from happening. She was able to talk her way out of it before resorting to violence.

Cassidy happened upon Jesse in the back room of the church, he was sitting in the dark. During a conversation Jesse told him of the powers he was discovering and said it felt like he was a blender inside. He described all of the emotions he was feeling all at once.

Jesse at first thought it was a curse, but Cassidy tried to talk him into using the ability for his own purposes.

Of the options only Odin was a Norse god. The character, Odin Quincannon, was written into the comics as a parable for Ross Perot. The character made his fortune in the meat packing industry.

Before he ran into Jesse earlier in the episode he was given a task of taking a body to the crematorium. The church secretary told him is was time that he start helping around there.

They met up on the side of the road. At first he was reticent to listen to her, but then she convinced him that his promise to be a "good" guy was that of a child, not a man. She showed him the address she had acquired at the beginning of the episode, then they sped away in her car.

Before they could get to Carlos, Jesse changed his mind and told Tulip they should "leave him to god", rather than seek their own vengeance.

The scene ended up with Jesse telling Tulip he needed to go to the bathroom and him getting attacked by Donnie, who was brandishing a pistol.

Using his newfound powers Jesse nearly made Donnie shoot himself in the head before he thought better of it and left him sitting on a toilet crying.

DeBlanc and Fiore claimed to be sent from Heaven when they were talking with Cassidy. This was after Cassidy had already killed them twice within the first three episodes. While he was about to kill them for the third time they convinced him they weren't vampire hunters and then told him their story.
