Dumbledore arrives at number 4 Privet Drive on Friday at 11 p.m. with the intention of escorting Harry to the Burrow. But before they leave, Dumbledore scolds the Dursleys for their treatment of Harry over the years. He asks them though to just allow Harry to return there once more so that the magic evoked on the house will continue.

Answer: "Shut up"

Kreacher does not want Harry to be his new master and so he begins to say "Won't, won't, won't" again and again. Harry yells at him to shut up and suddenly Kreacher looks as though he's going to choke. This proves that Harry is in fact Kreacher's new master. Dumbledore suggests that Kreacher be sent to Hogwarts where the other house-elves can keep an eye on him and Harry agrees.

Dumbledore brings Harry to the village of Budleigh Babberton where he hopes to persuade an old friend of his to teach at Hogwarts. When they arrive at his home, the find it in a state of chaos. The front door is hanging from its hinges and various items are smashed and tossed all over the place. Dumbledore surveys the room and then pokes an armchair which replies with an "Ouch!".

The chair is actually Horace Slughorn, Dumbledore's old friend, who created the chaos himself as a joke.

Mr. Weasley tells Harry that even though some people just change color, others have sprouted tentaclelike warts all over their bodies.

Harry received "Exceeds Expectations" in Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Herbology, Potions and Transfiguration. He received his only "Outstanding" in Defense Against the Dark Arts, earned an "Acceptable" in Astronomy, a "Poor" in Divination and a "Dreadful" in History of Magic.

Tonks tells Harry that she is stationed in Hogsmeade along with several others. Their job is to provide the school with any extra protection that it might need.

During Cormac's tryout, he only saves four out of five penalties whereas Ron saves all five and is made Keeper. Harry notices though that on the penalty Cormac missed he was completely off. He then figures out that Hermione, who had been sitting in the stands, had Confunded Cormac so that he would mess up and Ron could be Keeper.

Harry and several other students are invited to a Christmas party held by Professor Slughorn. Harry wants to invite Ginny but she is dating Dean and he is scared about how Ron will react to such a situation. So he invites Luna, just as friends, and he's glad he brought her because of her wacky personality.

Ron is horrified by the present but Harry finds it hilarious.

First off, here is the definition of abstinence: "The act or practice of refraining from indulgence in an appetite, as for certain foods, drink, alcoholic beverages, drugs, or sex." Now, when I first read "The Half-Blood Prince" I thought that the Fat Lady had chosen "Abstinence" as the new password because of all the snogging that had been going on.

But player Missypj1 picked up on the fact that the Fat Lady was clearly hung over and was thinking about abstaining from alcoholic beverages when she chose the password. Both ways are funny but looking back at the text I can see that the password referring to alcoholic beverages makes much more sense. Oh, that Fat Lady...always good for a chuckle =0)
