1. Who were the dam and sire of Ashleigh's Wonder?

Answer: Townsend Pride and Townsend Holly

Though Wonder was not seen as much as she was born weak and sickly, her parents were both champions in their own way. Townsend Pride won both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. Townsend Holly was a sucessful broodmare who had given birth to many champions. Baldasar was the sire of three of Wonder's foals, Wonder's Pride, Townsend Princess and Mr. Wonderful. Brite Morn was the dam of Shining, Wonder's half sister.
2. What was the last race Storm's Ransom won before his death?

Answer: Breeder's Cup Sprint Championship

Storm won the Breeder's Cup Sprint Championship at the beginning of his three year old season. He then got struck with Equine Infectious Anemia, and despite the hard work Cindy had done to save him, had to be put down.
3. Who owns Sterling Dream?

Answer: Samantha Nelson

Sterling Dream was an unsucessful race horse who was clearly unhappy on the track. Christina Reese traded her share of Wonder's Legacy for the mare, who she trained as an eventer before catching the racing bug. She then sold Sterling to Samantha Nelson, who leases her out to Kaitlin Boyce, one of her students.
4. Why did Jazz Taylor decide to sell Perfect Image?

Answer: Financial trouble

Jazz sold Image because of financial troubles. His band had a bad run and had lost a lot of money, so he was forced to sell the filly to Ben Al-Rhani. Imagine had broken her leg after winning the Kentucky Derby, but Jazz had decided to keep her until his band's trouble.
5. Where does Wonder's Champion stand at stud?

Answer: Tall Oaks Farm

Champion currently stands at stud at Tall Oaks Farm. While in training, Champion lived at Whitebrook. He was then sold to Sheik Habib al-Rihani and shipped to Dubai to stand at stud after the stallion caused Ashleigh to lose her baby. Twelve years later, Ben Al-Rhani, the Sheik's son, imported Champion to Tall Oaks, giving half ownership to Cindy McLean.
6. What is the name of Parker's eventing mare?

Answer: Foxglove

Parker Townsend's grandfather, Clay Townsend, bought Foxy at an auction for Parker to use in his eventing career. She and Parker have one many events and are currently aiming towards getting into the olympics. Wizard of Oz was Parker's second purchase, a gelding who was an ex-showjumping champion. Sterling Dream was Christina Reese's eventing mare before selling her to Samantha Nelson. Tribulation was Christina's pony before she out grew him and gave him to her shorter cousin, Melanie.
7. Did March to Glory win the Breeder's Cup Classic?

Answer: True

Not only did Glory win the race, but he set a world record over 1 1/4 miles and won by 31 lengths. He was retired early in his four year old season due to an injury, but went on to become a successful stud.
8. Why did Townsend Princess never race in the Triple Crown?

Answer: She re-broke her leg

Townsend Princess broke her leg while in training at Townsend Acres. Though she recovered and went on to win major stakes races in her two and three year old seasons, her leg re-broke while running in the Blue Grass. Princess was retired and became a sucessful broodmare.
9. What did Limitless Time come in the Dubai World Cup?

Answer: 2nd

Limitless Time started to win stakes races late in his three-year old season and was invited to race in the Dubai World Cup after another horse was scratched. He came second to Wonder's Champion and is now retired to stud.
10. How old was Ashleigh's Wonder when she died?

Answer: 24

Wonder died at the age of 24 after suffering internal bleeding due to a difficult birth. She was the best horse Whitebrook ever had, winning 8 of her 13 starts and never being out of the top 4. She narrowly missed winning the triple crown after coming second in the Preakness Stakes.

After being retired, she proved to be as sucessful as a brood mare as she was as a race horse. Her foals were Wonder's Pride, Townsend Princess, Mr. Wonderful, Wonder's Champion, Wonder's Legacy and Wonder's Star.
