Answer: Ferncloud

Ferncloud is a Thunderclan queen. Her mate is Dustpelt and her brother is Ashfur. Goldenflower was also a Thunderclan queen and her mate was Tigerclaw (then Tigerstar, now dead). She has pale ginger fur, not grey. Mistyfoot is a Riverclan queen, and is now deputy.

Her mother was Bluestar, but she has blue eyes, not green. Her brother is Stonefur. Cinderpelt is a medicine cat and so cannot have kits. Her brother is Brackenfur.

2. I am a tortoiseshell and white she cat with amber eyes. I have two brothers and my father was once deputy. Who am I?

Answer: Sorreltail

Sorreltail's father was Whitestorm, who was Firestar's first deputy. Her two brothers are Sootfur and Rainwhisker. Whitewing's father is Cloudtail who has never been deputy. Her pelt is not tortoiseshell and she is an only kit. Spotted leaf's father is unknown so it cannot be her. Tawnypelt's eyes are green, not amber.

3. I am a kittypet and I live at Horseplace. I am a small grey and white cat. Who am I?

Answer: Floss

In the books Floss is described as a small grey and white she cat. All the others are in Thunderclan. Daisy has cream coloured fur. Whitepaw and Leafpool are only half kittypet and neither live at Horseplace.

4. I am a short-tailed brown cat and I am a medicine cat. I have been medicine cat for very long time. Who am I?

Answer: Barkface

Barkface is the only WindClan medicine cat ever mentioned in any "Warrior Cats" books. Littlecloud does not fit this description because he is a tabby and Leafpool had only been medicine cat for a few seasons. Mousefur is a warrior not a medicine cat!

5. I am a golden brown tabby tom. I have a mate and kits. My apprentice is the daughter of a former kittypet and my sister is dead. Who am I?

Answer: Brackenfur

Brackenfur's mate is Sorreltail and she has just had kits (Honeykit, Poppykit, Cinderkit and Molekit). His apprentice is Whitepaw (later Whitewing) whose father is Cloudtail who was once a kittypet. His sister was Cinderpelt, who was recently killed by the badgers.

It could not be Thornclaw or Longtail because they have no mates or kits. Brambleclaw does have a mate, Squirrelflight, but she has not yet had her kits. His apprentice will be Berrypaw who is a tom not a she cat, and his sister Tawnypelt is still alive.

6. I am a smoky grey tom with blue eyes. I am extremely loyal to my clan which is not ThunderClan. Who am I?

Answer: Crowfeather

Crowfeather is a loyal WindClan warrior who shows his fierce loyalty to his clan. Webfoot is a dark tabby WindClan warrior who is more loyal to individual cats than to his clan. Shadepelt is a she cat and a RiverClan elder and Rainwhisker is in ThunderClan.

7. I was an apprentice at the beginning of 'Sunset'. My mother's brother loves my leader's daughter, but she never truly loved him back. She loves RiverClan's medicine cat's half brother who is also in my clan. Who am I?

Answer: Birchfall

Birchfall's mother is Ferncloud. Ferncloud's brother is Ashfur. He loved Squrrelflight who is Firestar's daughter. RiverClan's medicine cat is Mothwing, and her half - brother is Brambleclaw. Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw love each other meaning the apprentice can only be Birchfall.

Answer: Dustpelt

Dustpelt used to mock Firestar until Sandstorm fell in love with him. Dustpelt, although he was once jealous of Firestar's relationship with Sandstorm, now has Ferncloud's kits. Cloudtail never hated Firestar as he is kin and Brambleclaw does not have kits in this series. Spiderleg has no mate or kits and is a black cat.

9. I am a kind and caring cat. I am a light brown tabby. My father is important in the clan. My lover is a grey tom, whom I had to leave, but for a good reason. Who am I?

Answer: Leafpool

Leafpool is a medicine cat and she is naturally kind and caring. She is a light brown tabby and her father is Firestar, leader of ThunderClan. She loved Crowfeather, but had to leave him because he comes from another clan and she is a medicine cat, (A very good reason).
For Squirrelflight, everything fits except the colour of her pelt - she is a dark ginger she cat. She left Ashfur for Brambleclaw, (very important for future books).
Longtail's father is unknown and he has no mate, so it cannot be him. Birchfall's father is Dustpelt, who is a senior warrior. Birchfall has no mate however, so it cannot be him either.

10. I am a white cat whose parents were kittypets. I am fiercely proud, however, and will always remain loyal to my leader. Who am I?

Answer: Cloudtail

Cloudtail is a kittypet who is very loyal to Firestar as they are kin. Only Whitewing's father was a kittypet, (Cloudtail). Whitetail is clanborn and Stormfur is not kittypet; he is half-clan. He is also a grey tom, not white.
