Runningnose also receives another message from StarClan. "The clan will pay the highest possible price for their great new dawn".

2. Who is ThunderClan's deputy in this book?

Answer: Fireheart

Fireheart was made ThunderClan's deputy after Tigerclaw was banished from the clan. Redtail is dead, and Leopardfur is RiverClan's deputy.

3. Who is Ashpaw's mentor?

Answer: Dustpelt

Dustpelt would rather mentor Fernpaw instead because he has a soft spot for her.

4. What was wrong with Fireheart's ceremony?

Answer: It was after moonhigh

Now the cats of ThunderClan are saying that it looks like they can't keep their cats loyal, or even carry out the proper ceremonies.

Fireheart and Yellowfang tried to save them but they had breathed in too much smoke, just like Yellowfang herself.

Answer: Runningwind

Fireheart finds Whitethroat with Runningwind's dead body, and presumes that Whitethroat killed him. So Fireheart chases Whitethroat onto the thunderpath, where he is hit by a monster (vehicle) and is killed. Then Tigerclaw appears out of nowhere and attacks Fireheart.
