Answer: 30

You can calculate this as follows:

5+5 = 10 (remember, work out the brackets first)
10*3 = 30

This is a multiplication question.

1 week = 7 days

So, 7*2 = 14

Answer: 11

This one is tricky. I asked you for the amount of animals altogether, not just cows!
Cows = 8, so 8 cows + 3 sheep = 11 animals
5. Arrange these numbers from the smallest to the biggest. 5, 3, 15, 13

Answer: 3, 5, 13, 15

Did you know that the word for the order from smallest to the greatest is ASCENDING?
The word for the order from greatest to the smallest is DESCENDING.
6. How many whole numbers are there in between 5 and 10?

Answer: 4

The difference between 'in between' and 'from':

From 5 to 10: 6
In between 5 and 10: 4

We are taking out the numbers five and ten when we say 'in between'!
7. What is [2+4+6] - [3+4+5]?

Answer: 0

To calculate this, we simply add up the numbers!

2+4+6=12
3+4+5=12
Therefore, 12-12=0!
8. What is [1*7]+[3*6]?

Answer: 25

You have to figure out what the product is for the the sums in the brackets and add them together.
1*7 = 7
3*6 = 18
So,7+18 = 25
9. What is the 7th multiple of 3?

Answer: 21

For this question,you have to calculate 3*7.
3*7 = 21!
10. John weighs 60 kg. Jane is 29 kg lighter than him. How heavy is Jane?

Answer: 31

You have to subtract 21 from 60 to get this answer.
60-21 = 39!
