4. I have a set of cards. There are three orange cards, two purple, five yellow, one black, eight lime green, and one grey card. What percentage is there that I will draw a purple card?

Answer: 10%

In order to this problem first you have to add up the numbers of cards in this case it's 20. You get 20 when adding up three, two, five, one, eight, and one. Then you find how many of the cards are purple out of the whole and there are two out of 20. Then you can make an equivalent fraction out of 100 which is ten out of 100. What he had was 10 out of 100 or another way to say 10 per 100 equals 10 percent.
