The rock of Gibraltar was captured by the British and the Dutch in the War of the Spanish Succession in the name of an Austrian Archduke. In 1713 it was officially ceded to the British in the Treaty of Utrecht, and has been under British sovereignty ever since.

There are many more famous actors that have been regulars on the show because it was a launching ground for many acting careers.

"Not Ready For Prime Time Players" was what later became "Saturday Night Live". They could not use the name because there already was a show on the air with a similar name hosted by Howard Cosell. When it was cancelled in 1976, the name was taken by NBC and given to their running show.

Christopher Reeve played Superman in the movie production of the popular comic book. Ironically, the actor who played the 'Man of Steel' was thrown off of a horse and paralyzed from the neck down. Christopher Reeve died on October 10th, 2004, of a heart attack.
