Izamal (Mexico) in the state of Yucatan is known as the "Yellow City" as most of the buildings are painted yellow. Jodpur (India) also in the state of Rajasthan is a city where majority of the buildings are painted a shade of blue and is popularly known as the Blue City. Chefchaoen (Morocco) is a city in the Rif Mountains and is also known for its buildings painted in shades of blue.
