A contraction is when an apostrophe takes the place of a missing letter or letters. In this case can't is the contraction for cannot. The apostrophe takes the place of "no".
2. Both Jesus and Joseph were of what profession?

You can read about the life of Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke or John of the New Testament in The Bible. Jesus is named as a carpenter in his own right in Mark 6:3.

4. What did Jack break when he fell down the hill in the nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill"?

Answer: crown

Most people know the first verse but a lot of people I found out don't know any of the other verses so here's another one:

"Up Jack got and home did trot, as fast as he could caper. He went to bed to mend his head with vinegar and brown paper"
5. What is the musical term that means to grow louder?

Answer: crescendo

The opposite of crescendo is decrescendo. Decrescendo means to grow softer.

Answer: Clyde Barrow

Bonnie and Clyde were killed on May 23, 1934 in Louisiana.
7. Which of the following verbs in Spanish means "to believe"?

10. What position does "Today" play in the Abbott and Costello routine "Who's on First"?

Answer: Catcher

Center field is the only other position that is in baseball. A corner is a position in American football (shortened for cornerback), and a center is in basketball.
