Wade, who had been drafted out of Vanderbilt by the Rams, threw for 2,301 yards and 15 touchdowns throughout the regular season, and ran for two touchdowns in the title game.
10. The answers to the last nine questions should you lead you to people who have participated professionally in what sport?

Answer: Darts

1) Dennis PRIESTLEY, from Yorkshire, won the BDO World Championship in 1991, and the PDC version in 1994.
2) Jocky WILSON, from my hometown of Kirkcaldy, Fife, was BDO World Champion in 1982 and 1989.
3) Colin LLOYD, from Essex, was world number one from 2005-07, and won the 2005 World Matchplay title.
4) John LOWE, from Derbyshire, won the BDO World Championship three times, in 1979, 87 and 93.
5) Welshman Leighton REES was the very first BDO World Champion in 1978, beating Lowe 11-7 in the final.
6) Phil TAYLOR, from Stoke-on-Trent, dominated the world of darts in the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century, winning a combined 15 BDO and PDC world titles between 1990 and 2009.
7) Andy FORDHAM, from London, was the 2004 BDO World Champion.
8) Eric BRISTOW, from London, was the most successful darts player of the 1980s, winning the BDO World Title five times between 1980 and 1986.
9) James WADE, from Hampshire, won five major title on the PDC circuit in 2007/08, becoming the youngest ever winner of a PDC event aged 24, when he won the 2007 World Matchplay.

Footnote - for those of you new to the sport of darts, the game was run by one body, the British Darts Organisation (BDO), until 1992, when a number of top players formed the breakaway Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Since then there have been two parallel World Championships, but in the early years of the 21st century nearly all of the top players (and nearly all the TV money) were in the PDC, with the BDO event being increasingly discredited.
