Harrison was 68 when he took office on March 4, 1841, on a cold rainy day. His inaugural address was the longest in American history when he spoke for almost two hours. On 26 March, 1941 he became ill; initially it seemed he had the flu but his condition worsened quickly and he died a few days later. In 2014, an article published in "Clinical Infectious Diseases" by Jane McHugh and Philip A. 5. All triangles have a side called hypotenuse.

Answer: False

Triangles are polygons with three edges and three vertices. In geometry on a plane, only the right or right-angled triangle has an angle that measures 90°, i.e., has a right angle. The longest side of a right triangle is called the hypotenuse and is always the side that lies opposite the 90° angle. Therefore, only the right triangle has a hypotenuse.

The word hypotenuse comes from the Greek word "hypoteinousa" which means "stretching under". Pythagoras mentioned the hypotenuse in his famous theorem that states: "The square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides".
6. Where in the body can be found the hypothalamus?

Answer: In the brain

The hypothalamus is a small region located at the base of the brain. In humans it is approximately the size of a pea and corresponds to less than 1% of the weight of the brain. Although it is small, it has a fundamental role in many functions: releasing hormones, controlling the appetite, regulating the body temperature and emotional responses, etc.

Head injuries, genetic disorders, birth defects, tumors, etc. are factors that can cause hypothalamic dysfunction.
7. A person who has been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease has a problem in what body part?

Answer: Thyroid gland

Hashimoto's disease or Hashimoto's thyroiditis is a chronic inflammation of the thyroid. It is an autoimmune disease, in which the body attacks the thyroid cells and over time the person develops hypothyroidism. The disease is more common in older women. With hypothyroidism, the patient needs thyroid hormone replacement treatment for the rest of his or her life.
8. Which of these "H" authors wrote the novels "Jude the Obscure" and "Tess of the d'Urbervilles"

Answer: Thomas Hardy

The English novelist and poet Thomas Hardy (1840-1928), grew up in a rural area and his work was greatly influenced by this environment and its oral traditions. He worked in architecture offices while devoting himself to poetry. When he encountered difficulty in publishing his poetry, he decided to dedicate himself to prose. In 1872, Hardy left his work in architecture and turned exclusively to literature. His novels are set in the semi-fictional region of Wessex and had a certain humor, with melodramatic, tragic and pastoral elements.

His career in fiction ended with the publication of the novels "Tess of the d'Urbervilles, 1891 and" Jude the Obscure ", 1895, which are considered to be his best novels. From then on he started to rededicate himself to poetry.

In 1603, Fabricius published "On the Valves of the Veins", in which he showed that the veins of the human body had one-way valves, but was unable to describe their function. In 1602, Harvey completed his doctorate, returned to England where he continued his research. Based on Fabricius' discoveries and on his own research, he was able to describe, for the first time, the circulation of blood in the human body. He presented his results and arguments at the College of Physicians in 1616. In 1628, Harvey published his theories in the book "An Anatomical Study of the Motion of the Heart and of the Blood in Animals", where he explains how blood is pumped around the body by the heart.
