Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Name the character that Sarah Brightman played in 'CATS'.

Answer: Jemima

And no, she did NOT actually PLAY the role of Grizabella or another cat (I remember its name now - its Jellylorum, who sings part of 'Gus: The Theatre Cat'), she just recorded it for a CD. She PLAYED Jemima in the original London cast. She looks so cute in a cat costume! And, no, Sillabub does not count.

She did not play Sillabub, she played Jemima - Jemima's name was changed AFTER she left the cast, when it came to Broadway. I do not know why.
2. Who was the producer of the movie 'Pearl Harbor'?

Answer: Jerry Bruckheimer

Also produced 'Armageddon'. Disaster movies. When I made this quiz, 'Pearl Harbor' had not come out in theatres and thus I didn't expect people to know who produced it.
3. In what dynasty did the Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun rule?

Answer: 18th

I wrote a novel set in Egypt once and I had to do research. It's amazing the things you can learn off the internet. And, any information regarding this novel is strictly classified.... no not really... well, I don't know.
4. How was the person who wrote the Bible book of 'Esther' related to her?

Answer: cousin

Again, watch 'Veggie Tales'. This was Mordecai.
5. In the novel 'Les Miserables', in what town is Cosette living before Valjean adopts her?

Answer: Montfermeil

6. The Patent-Motorwagen built in 1886 is widely recognised as the first motorcar ever built. Which designer built it?

Answer: Karl Benz

The Benz Patent-Motorwagen was the first automobile to be specifically designed to be powered by a motor.

Note: A vehicle was designed and built by Siegfried Marcus in 1870, which gave him the honor of being the "first man propelling a vehicle by means of gasoline". It wasn't, however, a car as we know it.
7. What was the name of the only photographer mentioned in the movie 'What Women Want'?

Answer: Margaret Bourke-White

Of the four, only three of those are actual photographers. Nichole Fontayne was an original pen name of mine, and now a character in a novel yet to be finished or published, however you choose to look at it.
8. Who created the magazines 'Life' and 'Fortune'?

Answer: Henry Luce

Margaret Bourke-White worked for him. I had to do a book report on her once. How educational! J/K.
9. What was the name of Vivian Ward's (Julia Robert's character) friend in the movie 'Pretty Woman'?

Answer: Kit De Luca

This movie is basically like a fairy tale. It's a great movie, so watch it if you haven't seen it.
10. What is the name of the people who live in northern Scandinavia?

Answer: Lapps

This is my World Geography teacher rambling ON and ON about stuff that really doesn't apply to us. Sure, I have blonde hair, blue eyes, and I'm pale as a sheet but do I REALLY care? If you are a Lapp or a Saami, please feel free to yell at me. I'm in the mood.
