In March of 1613, Pocahontas was captured by some colonists and held for ransom against the Powhatan tribe. Unsatisfied with the Powhatan response, Pocahontas was held for a year at Henricus, near what is now Richmond, Virginia. While there, she met John Rolfe, whom she married on April 5th, 1614.

Eighteen loyal crew members, along with Captain Bligh, were cast off the ship near the island of Torfu. Bligh managed to navigate the small launch to Timor in the East Indies over 47 days, and 3,618 nautical miles.

The First War of Scottish Independence began in the year 1296, and lasted until the Treaty of Edinburgh-Northampton in 1328. During the war, Sir William Wallace was Guardian of Scotland from 1297 until the Battle of Falkirk in 1298. He managed to evade capture by the English until August of 1305. He was tried for treason, although during the trial he attested that "I could not be a traitor to Edward, for I was never his subject."

Wallace was found guilty, then he was hanged, drawn and quartered.

Stallone has starred in "Rocky" (1976), "Rocky II" (1979), "Rocky III" (1982), "Rocky IV" (1985), "Rocky V" (1990), and "Rocky Balboa" (2006). The full name of the character is Robert "Rocky" Balboa, Sr. During the series, Rocky contests the Heavyweight Championship of the World.

Harold Gregory "Hal" Moore, Jr. retired from the US military in 1977 as a three-star General and a storied career. He served in Korea as a Captain, and of course in Vietnam as a Lieutenant Colonel.
