Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. How many quizzes are you allowed to make?

Answer: Infinite

You can make as many as you wish - as long as they don't contain the same information in each one!
2. Which of the following is the BEST place to get information for quizzes?

Answer: Encyclopedia

The encylopedia has facts! The others, well, they may be facts, but you should double-check them first.
3. What's the BEST reason to create a quiz?

Answer: You know the topic and there aren't many quizzes on it

Don't create one because everyone else has! Create something unique! And you shouldn't make a quiz on a topic you're not familiar with. Your answers may be incorrect and when someone sends you a correction notice you may not be able to understand.
4. How should you choose what category to put your quiz in?

Answer: Put it in with quizzes on the same subject

Utilize the sub-categories to make them even more subject-specific. This way people know exactly where to look. You shouldn't put it the main categories because quizzes should be in the most specific subcategory possible. This keeps the site looking neat and not cluttered. Imagine if you were looking for a book at the library and the librarian said "Well, I think the book you want it on the left side of the building, but I'm not sure."
5. Which of the following categories has the most quizzes?

Answer: Television

That's why sometimes television quizzes and quizzes in the busier categories take longer to be approved. Have patience - the editors will look at every quiz.
6. A quiz on Julia Child's cooking show could NOT go in which of the following categories?

Answer: Animals

Unless she spent the entire show talking about a breed of cattle and how good they tasted!
7. What should you read before you create a quiz?

Answer: The Guidelines

The Guidelines are actually quite helpful. They give you tips and ways to get your quiz approved faster. If the editors have to reject your quiz for things like quotations (which can be found in the quiz creation guidelines), it takes your quiz longer to get online.
8. All quizzes are online within 24 hours of being created.

Answer: false

Sometimes it takes a couple of days. How long it takes depends on how many other quizzes in that category need to be approved and how many mistakes are in your quiz.
9. What should you do after you create a quiz?

Answer: Take your quiz to double-check for errors

You should take your quiz just to make SURE that there aren't any errors that you missed when you created it. This way, you know EXACTLY how your quiz will look when other people take it.
10. When should you use 'fill in the blank' answers?

Answer: When a short answer is all that's needed

Fill in the blanks should only be used when necessary! Many people won't take your quiz if they see it's full of this type of questions!
