This series about the popular teenage detective was created by Edward Stratemeyer. Though written by several authors the books are published under the pseudonym Carolyn Keene. The "Nancy Drew Mystery" series is still popular with young girls.

NBC (National Broadcasting Corporation) was founded in 1926. The peacock logo was introduced in 1956 to promote its color programming.

His partners Joe Broadhurst and Detective Grover usually covered for McCloud as he used some of his unorthodox methods to solve crimes.
