Jack Graney was also one of the first Canadian born players in baseball. He was born in St. Thomas, Ontario and played his entire 13 year career for the Cleveland Indians (1910-1922).
2. Nearly everyone knows the story of Rosa Parks not giving up her seat on the bus which started the bus boycott in Alabama. What was the name of the bus driver that had Parks arrested?

Answer: James F. Blake

December 1, 1955 is considered to be the start of the civil rights movement in the United States when Rosa Parks refused to give up her bus seat to a white man. Parks was quoted to say "I felt just resigned to give what I could to protect against the way I was being treated" about the incident.

After her arrest, blacks boycotted the bus service for 382 days in Montgomery, Alabama and in other southern US cities.
3. Which metal has the highest melting point?

Answer: Tungsten

Tungsten, represented by W on the Periodic Table of the Elements, has the highest melting point of all metals at 6,170 degrees Fahrenheit. By comparison, typical low carbon steel melts at 2,450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ruth Handler and her huband Elliot owned a company that made wooden picture frames. Elliot had a partner named Harold Mattson. After a while, the company started using scraps of wood from their frames to make doll furniture. This started them into the toy business where they changed the name to Mattel (the name was derived by combining MATTson and ELliot together). Ruth wanted to make a doll for distribution, so she formed a team of designers and the Barbie was created.

The doll debuted at the New York Toy Show in 1959 and the rest is toy history.

James Madison was 5'4" tall. Madison was born March 16, 1751 in Virginia and became the fourth US president in 1808.

The piano was invented by Bartolommeo Cristofori in Italy in the year 1709. The original piano was only a four octave instrument as opposed to the seven and a half octave instrument we have today.

Answer: Salmon P. Chase

Salmon P. Chase was the Secretary of the Treasury under Abraham Lincoln, and afterwards he became Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He was a supporter of the National Banks Act of 1863 and 1864 which got the federal government in the business of issuing currency for the first time since the War of 1812.
9. In the popular television program "MacGyver", what was MacGyver's first name?

Answer: Angus

Angus MacGyver was a character played by Richard Dean Anderson. The character was a special agent working for the Phoenix Foundation for Research who was highly skilled in improvising his way out of a jam using nothing but simple items found around him.

His character had a broad knowledge of science and mechanics and he could do just about anything with almost any common ordinary item. The show aired from 1985-1992, but can be now be seen everyday in syndication.
10. What is the middle name of cartoon character Donald Duck?

Answer: Fauntleroy

Donald Duck was created by Carl Barks, a cartoonist from Oregon, in 1942 while working as an artist for Disney. Barks drew 6,215 pages, 190 comic covers and wrote 396 comic scripts while at Disney.
