Germany (West Germany then) also hosted the 1974 World Cup. Germany have won the World Cup three times in 1954, 1974 and 1990. Ghana, Greece and Georgia have never hosted the FIFA World Cup.

Answer: The Grand National

The Grand National is an annual steeplechase and it is run over a distance of 4 miles and 4 furlongs. The horses have to jump 30 fences going twice over the course. Great National is a chain of hotels in Great Britain and Ireland, Ode on a Grecian Urn is a poem by John Keats and The Georgia Stakes are a series of races that have been held in Georgia, USA.
3. What is the name of a 1964 James Bond film?

Answer: Goldfinger

'Goldfinger' was the third James Bond film and starred Sean Connery, Gert Frobe, Shirley Eaton and Honor Blackman. 'Greenfingers' is a 2002 British comedy, 'Guardian' is a 2001 Mario Van Peebles film and 'Gymkata' is a film about a championship gymnast.

Answer: St George

St George was adopted as the patron saint of soldiers during The Crusades. That is why the red cross in the English flag is called 'St.George's' cross. St. Georges' Day is on April 23.

Garibaldi played a crucial part in the unification of Italy in the 19th century. Answer: Goa

Goa, in West India, was a Portuguese territory for about 450 years and has an area of 1,429 square miles. It is the richest of the Indian states and it is famous for its nice beaches. Gibraltar is a British territory that borders Spain, Glamis is a small village in Scotland famed for its castle and Gujarat is also a state in West India with an area of 75,686 square miles.

Answer: Godiva

Lady Godiva did this as a protest against the taxes that her husband charged his tenants. Gabrielle means God is my strength, St Genevieve is the patron of Paris and Grace means graceful or blessed.

Georgia was part of the Soviet Union until 1991. Georgia is in the Caucasus region on the Black Sea. Gabon is a country in Africa, Guatemala is in Central America and Grenada is an island country in the Caribbean Sea.

Answer: Genuflect

Genuflect comes from the Latin genu "knee" + flectere "to bend". Geomancy is divination from the configuration of a handful of earth or random dots, Gestate means to carry a foetus in gestation and Girasol is a kind of opal reflecting a reddish glow.
