Answer: Anaesthesia and Anaesthetics

An anesthesiologist is the doctor who specializes in this field of medicine. There are two main kinds of anesthesia. These are known as general anesthetic (the kind that puts you to sleep) and local anesthetic (the kind that just numbs the area around the injection site).

Yes believe it or not people actually study rubbish! Garbology is often called dumpster diving, for obvious reasons. Garbology and archaeology sometimes overlap as the only evidence that some civilizations leave behind is their trash.
The word "garbage" is originally the word used for the offal from fowls.

A dendrologist is an expert in the field of dendrology which is a study of trees and woody plants like shrubs.

It is actually the study of volcanoes, also spelled volcanology.
One of the major areas of research for vulcanologists is the prediction of eruptions; there is currently no accurate way to do this, but predicting eruptions, like predicting earthquakes, could save a lot of lives.
