Editor: A query was raised as to whether this was Columbus, Ohio or Watertown, Wisconsin. After checking online I found two claims for Wisconsin, but none for Ohio (but for Wikepedia, which can be edited by anybody). I concluded that if Ohio had any claim to this 'first' they would advertise it. I am willing, however, to be corrected with evidence if I concluded incorrectly. Please send a Correction Note in such a case.

Answer: Vermont

Not Massachusetts, folks! It IS famous for other firsts, however; the first printing press in 1639, and the first college, Harvard, in 1636. Of course, the American Revolution began in Massachusetts.
10. The most famous Indian battle in U.S. history took place at the Little Big Horn. In which state was this battle fought?
