Prague Castle was first built in the 9th century, although it has been rebuilt several times since then. The castle is open to the public and the changing of the guard takes place there every day.

The Petrin View Tower was built at the end of the 19th century as part of the Jubilee Exhibition. The architects based their design on the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Visitors are treated to a spectacular view of Prague - after they have climbed the 299 steps to the top!
