7. Where can you hike to Peak 8 to hit powder in the Horseshoe and Contest Bowls? Hike Peak 7 to hit Peak 7 Bowl and Whale"s Tail. After that, a good place to imbibe is Downstairs at Eric's.
8. Where do you find your expert terrain on the backside of Union Peak and Tucker Mountain, as well as the terrain under/around the Resolution lift? Afterwards, settle in for aprés drinks at the bottom of the Super-Bee lift, at Molly B's.
9. You can hit unbelievable tree skiing (through mostly deciduous tree stands) in many places on this mountain, including Christmas Tree Bowl, Chute 1, Chute 2, Chute 3, and No Names. Imbibing is always good at the Tap House.
10. What resort in Southwest Colorado typically gets pounded with more snowfall than any other in Colorado? Hit the amazing pow-pow in bowls like Montezuma Bowl, Horseshow Bowl and the Knife-Ridge Chutes.
11. Where can you make your way all the way back to Prospect Bowl and hit some hardcore favs such as Little Rose, Genevieve, and Andy's Gold? There are lots of aprés ski drinking opportunities at spots such as Allred's Bar, Wildflour and The Crunchy Porcupine.
12. Where can you head up to the top of Loge Peak and hit any of the extreme chutes that make up the Steeplechase? This mountain is the best of a group of four that are near the town. For your aprés beer, head downtown into any of the clubs in the grid where you might spot a celebrity, but expect to pay high prices.
13. Where can you hit Chair 5, stay to the skier's left, and take The Plunge, Satisfaction or In the Mood (three of my favorite powder-filled runs on this mountain)? Enjoy a very modest aprés ski beer at the cafeteria-style lodge, then dodge the traffic coming out of the Eisenhower Tunnel as you merge onto the highway.
14. Where can you hike to the Upper East Wall and the North Pole for some of the sickest extreme in-bounds chutes in Colorado? No need to worry about resting, as you'll get pleny of rest on the 5 low-speed chairs at this mountain. Aprés-skiing is best done in the parking lot in the springtime.
15. Where can you ski during your work lunch hour if you live in Nederland, Colorado? (Assuming a bit of an extended lunch.)
