1. If you were in Denmark's capital, Copenhagen, and drove your car across the Oresund Bridge, which city would you end up in?

Answer: Malmo

The Oresund Bridge, which opened in 2000, crosses the Oresund Strait, is around five miles long, and connects Copenhagen with the Swedish city of Malmo. The bridge carries both rail and motorway traffic. Malmo lies in the far south west of Sweden, and is that country's third biggest city, after Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Montreux, in the canton of Vaud, lies at the north east corner of Lake Geneva. The Jazz Festival was first held there in 1967, whilst the Golden Rose TV awards were held there from 1961 until 2003. The town was immortalised in the Deep Purple song "Smoke on the Water", which recalls a fire there whilst they were recording their 1971 album "Machine Head".
