2. In which US 'big sky' state is the Yogo sapphire mined?

Answer: Montana

Yogo sapphires are usually a cornflower blue because they contain trace amounts of iron and titanium. They are found in Judith Basin County, Montana, mostly in Yogo Gulch (part of the Little Belt Mountains). Far from being 'big sky' states, the three wrong answers are the smallest states in the US.

Answer: Edam and Gouda

Edam is located in the province of North Holland. It is so named for the dam on the River E (IJe), which was the site chosen by the first people living there. It is also the place where the Edam cheese originated. Gouda is in the province of South Holland.

It is the place where the cheese that bears the city's name was sold, although it was not made in the city but in surrounding areas. There is a cheese market in the city every Thursday.

She came up with the Big Easy attribution based on the easy going lifestyle found in New Orleans. New Orleans is also known as the Crescent city due to its geography created by the bend in the Mississippi River.

The Great Dividing Range is the fourth longest in the world. It stretches more than 3500 km (2175 miles) from Dauan Island in north Queensland, down through all of New South Wales, and the into Victoria. There it turns west and converges with the Grampians. Well-known areas of the Great Dividing Range include the Dandenong Ranges, the New England Plateau, the Blue Mountains, and the Australian Alps.
