Qamdo Banda Airport can also lay claim to the longest publicly used runway in the world with a length of 5,500m. Due to the mountainous terrain, a commute to Qamdo will take well over two hours, as will travelling the 50km or so to Gana.

There are also towns called Gana in Burkina Faso and Poland.
