Answer: Stonehenge

This group of standing stones was created between 4000 -1000 BC. It could have been used for religious ceremonies and astronomical observances. At one time visitors could walk around inside Stonehenge, but because of damage, although you can get fairly close, you cannot get near enough to touch the stones.

The Alhambra was built by the Moors in the 12th and 13th centuries. It was both citadel and palace, and is a wonderful example of Moorish architecture.

Petra is in southwest Jordan. It was captured by the Romans in 106AD. Then the Muslims took over in the seventh century. The Crusaders later took possession. Then the city was abandoned. It was rediscovered in 1812. Actually it isn't rose-red but more of a salmon color.
