CSA General William Whiting graduated at the top of the class in 1845 and held that record until Douglas MacArthur established a new record in 1903.
2. What date did Abraham Lincoln deliver the Gettysburg Address?

Answer: Nov. 19, 1863

On November 19 1863 Lincoln gave his speech dedicating the new soldiers' cemetery at Gettysburg at an event attended by an estimated 15,000 people.
