Hardin was playing dice in the Acme Saloon in El Paso, Texas when he was gunned down. His last roll was four sixes.
2. What famous cattleman and trailblazer died of gangrene caused by Indian arrow wounds?

Answer: Oliver Loving

Riding ahead of a cattle drive, Oliver Loving and a companion were attacked by Indians and Loving was wounded by arrows. He died of gangrene in Fort Sumner, New Mexico on September 25, 1867. Gus McCrae is a fictional character based on Loving.
3. Whose last words were "Quien es?"

Answer: Billy the Kid

Billy was shot dead late at night in the dark bedroom of his friend, Pete Maxwell. Sensing someone else in the room, Billy asked "Quien es?" (Who is it?). Pat Garrett shot toward the voice and killed the Kid.
