Joan of Arc was a peasant girl from Domrémy, France who started having visions telling her to free her homeland from the English. By the age of 18 she was leading an army against the English. At 19 she was captured, tried as a heretic and sentenced to death. She was burned at the stake while only 19.

Born 16 days after his father, John F. Kennedy, was elected as the youngest American President in 1960, John F. Kennedy, Jr. was only two years old when his father was assassinated in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. He stepped out to salute the passing flag-draped coffin, a photographer snapped his photo, and JFK, Jr. was forever immortalized. His father's funeral was held on the day of JFK, Jr.'s third birthday, and his amazingly brave and caring mother held a birthday party for him after this funeral. John F. Kennedy, Jr. died in a plane crash on July 16, 1999.

There are many theories as to who actually killed the two boys. However, they were never seen alive after the summer of 1483. The skeletons of two children were exhumed from under a step in the Tower of London in 1674. The remains were reburied in Westminster Abbey by the order of King Charles II.

Answer: Anne Frank

Annelies Marie "Anne" Frank was born in Germany in 1929. She and her family emigrated to Amsterdam in the Netherlands in 1933 but again came under Nazi rule when Germans invaded the Netherlands in World War II. The family went into hiding in 1942 as persecution of Jewish people by the Nazis increased. Her diary is an accurate record of the daily activities of several people hidden in a small attic. Someone turned them in to the German Security Police and Anne and six others hiding with her were sent to concentration camps. Sadly Anne perished just weeks before the Allies liberated the camp.

Alexei Nikolaevich Romanov was the youngest of the five children and the last Crown Prince of Imperial Russia. He and the rest of his family were murdered on July 17, 1918, following the Russian Revolution, when Alexei was only 13. Alexei suffered from hemophilia and was a very frail and sickly child. He was treated for this illness by Gregori Rasputin, the "Mad Monk."
