The incident happened on 1/6/94. In March of that year, Tonya Harding struck a plea bargin in which she pled guilty to one felony count of Conspiracy to Hinder the Prosecution. She was sentenced to: 3 years supervised probation, a $100,000 fine. She also had to resign from the U.S. Figure Skating Association, create a $50,000 fund for "The Special Olympics", reimburse the District Attorney's Office $10,000, serve 500 hours community service, and lastly, undergo psychiatric evaluation and treatment.
2. Tonya Harding overcame her problems and won a Gold Medal in the 1994 Olympics?

She actually finished 8th. Nancy Kerrigan however, finished 2nd and won a Silver medal.
