Iraq invaded along a 500 kilometer front and captured the disputed Shatt Al Arab river channel and the southern border city of Khorramshahr.

Answer: Along the 17th parallel

This was a result of the Geneva Accords which provided for the safe withdrawal of French troops from Vietnam. North Vietnam came under the control of Ho Chi Minh while South Vietnam was controled by Emperor Bao Dai.
4. Which South African President freed Nelson Mandela?

Answer: F.W. de Klerk

Mandela, who was once dubbed 'The Black Pimpernel', for his ability to avoid capture, was sentenced to life in prison in 1964. He lived in the harsh conditions of the maximum security prison on Robben Island until 1982.

Real power, however, lay with Obote who led the country after independence from Britain in 1962. Accused of corruption and election rigging, Obote fled once again to Tanzania in 1986.
