The Wirbelwind was made on the Panzer 4 chassis. It had a 9 sided turret. It was created to increase the anti aircraft capabilities for panzer units. The Wibelwind itself was vulnerable, and many were destroyed by allied planes. The Wirbelwind was replaced by the more powerful Ostwind.

The Panther was built to counter the T-34. The Panther was armed with a 75mm gun. The Panther was used by the French after WW2. It is regarded as one of the best tanks of the war. The Panther debuted at the battle of Kursk, but many broke down before reaching the battlefield.
