Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The "Bop It Extreme 2" is a game based on a player performing a certain function when told to do so. Of the following, which is NOT one of the game's commands?

Answer: Push It.

In the top left corner is the "Twist It", in the bottom left corner is the "Pull It", in the top right corner is the "Flick It", in the bottom right corner is the "Spin It", and the "Bop It" is in the center.
2. One unfortunate part of the game is that there is a certain high score that the game will not let you exceed in the solo mode. What is this highest possible "Bop It Extreme 2" solo score?

Answer: 250

It takes approximately eight minutes to reach a score of 250 points. The first time I achieved this score I thought that I had messed up somehow, but after attaining the score again I realized that 250 was the maximum score.
3. What is the game mode that produces sounds instead of verbal commands to tell the player what to do?

Answer: Beat Bop

While the "Beat Bop" mode is more difficult than the standard "Vox Bop" mode, it is still very enjoyable. Each of the commands has a distinct sound that actually fit well with what it is you are doing (i.e. the "Twist It" Beat sounds like something being twisted).
4. While you are playing the solo mode, a change in music indicates that you have achieved a certain score. After every interval of what number of points will the music change?

Answer: 16

Since the highest possible score is 250, the music will change up to 15 times. There are four different types of music produced during the solo mode.
5. What company was the marketer for the "Bop It Extreme 2"?

Answer: Hasbro

Hasbro has marketed all of the Bop It products through the year 2005: "Bop It", "Bop It Extreme", "Bop It Extreme 2", and "Bop It Blast".
6. After failing to perform the correct command, the game has some not so encouraging remarks for you. Of the following, which is NOT one of the remarks made after messing up in "Bop It Extreme 2"?

Answer: Try harder.

This feature is somewhat annoying when you first start playing the game. When you achieve a high score, the game will say "Killer dude." or "Not bad."
7. The "Bop It Extreme 2" has a unique shape that facilitates gameplay. Of the following, which is most similar to its shape?

Answer: Race car steering wheel.

The toy itself weighs about a pound and a half and the best way to hold it is probably with one hand on either side (like how you'd drive a race car).
8. The "Bop It Extreme 2" features a mode that allows you to compete against your opponent by alternating play after a certain number of points. What is this fast-paced mode called?

Answer: Pass It.

This mode is extremely fun because it can last longer than the solo mode and it becomes very competitive. As the game progresses, the "Pass It" command becomes less frequent.
9. How many levels of volume does the "Bop It Extreme 2" have?

Answer: 3

The three levels are low, medium, and high. A great feature of the game is that there is a hadphone jack port that allows you to play silently to anyone nearby.
10. What must you do in order to start a new game of "Bop It Extreme 2"?

Answer: Bop the "Bop It" in the center.

After bopping the "Bop It", the music will start and the first command will be given in about 2 seconds. Between games, the "Twist It" will tell you the high score", the "Pull It" will switch between the solo mode, Pass It mode, and One-on-One mode, the "Flick It" will switch between Vox Bop and Beat Bop, and the "Spin It" will adjust the volume.
