The flavor contained "cherry ice cream with cherries and fudge flakes". Jerry Garcia, who the flavor was named after, was the lead guitarist of Grateful Dead. He died on August 9th, 1995 from a heart attack.

The title of the flavor was later changed to "S'mores" in 2007. The famous quote came from the episode "Her Sister's Shadow" where Jan got tired of being compared to her older sister Marcia.
