A second Zippo Car was constructed in 1997 for the 50th anniversary of the original car.

Japan hosts the Zippo/Case International Swap meet every other year. Zippo is now sold in more than a 120 countries around the world. Mr. Blaisdell died October 3, 1978 and the company passed to his grandson, George B. Duke, on January 2, 2007.
