Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who is the manufacturer of Monopoly Junior?

Answer: Hasbro

Hasbro is the manufacturer of many board games including Monopoly Junior, Clue, Bop It and Sorry. Parker Brothers is a subsidiary of Hasbro.
2. What is the maximum amount of players for a game of Monopoly Junior?

Answer: four

The maximum player for the game is four players. The minimum is two players. There are eight pieces in the regular game of Monopoly that I own so eight people can play there. I have seen the Deluxe Edition of Monopoly in stores where twelve people can play. Five is the youngest recommended age for Monopoly Junior.
3. If you pick up a free ticket booth chance card and see that there are two different color ticket booths on either square and one is not yours, it is okay to remove someone's ticket booth.

Answer: Yes

According to the rules, it is okay to remove someone's ticket booth. However, if there were two of the same color on both squares, then you can not remove that person's ticket booth.
4. How much money does each player start off with at the beginning of the game in Monopoly Jr?

Answer: thirty-one dollars

Each player starts with one five-dollar bill, one four-dollar bill, three three-dollar bills, four two-dollar bills and five one-dollar bills. The total is thirty-one dollars.
5. There are three events where you have to spend money in Monopoly Jr. These events cost two or three dollars. Pick the event that is not on the board.

Answer: Autoshow

The Fireworks and the Watershow are both two dollars. Going to lunch will cost three dollars. There is no square or chance card that tells a player to go to the Autoshow.
6. How does the game of Monopoly Jr end?

Answer: When one player runs out of money.

The game officially ends when one player runs out of money. At this point, the money is counted and the person with the most money wins. If all the chance cards are used, they are flipped over and reused. The game will move faster when all the propery squares have ticket booths on them because money is being handed over to other players. During the course of play, it is possible to go around the board many times.
7. There is another spot on the Monopoly Junior board where a player can receive money (other than passing Go).

Answer: True

This spot is called Mr. Monopoly's Loose Change (called Uncle Pennybag's Loose Change in non-Canadian versions of the game). If there is money underneath the board at this spot when a player lands here, it is all theirs!
8. The property squares with the greatest value on them are:

Answer: Loop The Loop and Roller Coaster

Loop the Loop and Roller Coaster both have the value of five dollars. Bumper Cars and Ferris Wheel both have 4 dollars value. Cotton Candy and Balloon Stand are only 1 dollar each. The Magic Show and Puppet Show are two dollars apiece. While the Roller Coaster and Loop the Loop cost the owner to spend more money, the payback is great when others land on them.
9. How much money does a player get when they pass GO in Monopoly Jr?

Answer: two dollars

A player gets two dollars when they pass GO. If they forget as they went by, they lose out on their two dollars if the next player has started their play.
10. There are four colors in the Railroad squares. Pick the color that does not exist.

Answer: Orange

The railroads are called Green Line Railroad, Yellow Line Railroad, Red Line Railroad and Blue Line Railroad. There is no Orange Railroad.
