Rooibos is a South African bush from which tea-like leaves are collected. Its name literally means "Red Bush" in Afrikaans. While rooibos tea undergoes a similar treatment process to black and green tea and also shares some of the important flavor-gving substances, the plant itself is not related to the tea plant. Rooibos tea has a sweet, nut-like aroma and is treasured by many health-conscious tea lovers for its high content of antioxidants and low tannin levels.

Regarded as the "coffee shrub of Arabia", Coffea arabica is commonly found in parts of the Arabian Peninsula, particularly Ethiopa and Yemen, where it's been grown for more than 1000 years. The plants typically take 7 years to mature fully, bloom with white flowers, and bear red or purple fruits that normally contain two beans for harvesting.

Other types of the plant are grown in the Java region of Indonesia along with multiple countries in Central and South America.

Commonly referred to as just Yinzhen or Silver Needle, Bai Hao Yinzen is considered to be the most expensive type of White Tea. The tea is derived from the most tender buds of the Da Bai or Great White tea tree in the Fujian province of China. When steeped, the tea creates a lightly caffeinated, yellowish colored beverage whose flavor is considered almost buttery.

Some advertise Bai Hao Yinzhen as being an anti-carcinogenic, a claim that has yet to be confirmed scientifically.

This Chinese green tea, from the Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces of China, derives its name from its appearance similar to that of gunpowder pellets. The shape is formed by the dried green tea leaves being rolled to a ball-like shape. When purchasing Gunpowder tea, search for tightly packed small pellets as they are usually marks of higher quality tea than their larger compatriots.

A bold, full bodied Green tea, it is commonly mixed with peppermint (or other mint teas) to make "Moroccan Mint Tea"

Oolong tea is a very popular Chinese tea. The tea is grown in various regions of China including the Fujian, Guangdong Provinces, along with Taiwan. Oolong tea is considered to be very high in Polyphenols which are believed to carry the same health benefits as Anti-Oxidants.

The tea is also roasted and mixed with flavors, most notably Jasmine flower to create a drink that ranges from floral to spicy, depending on its origin and roasting time.

This beverage, named after the popular professional golfer, can be made with sweetened or unsweetened Iced Tea. It has many other variations including being mixed with potables such a Vodka and Gin.

Originating in the West African nation of the Congo, 25-30% of the coffee produced in the world today is Robusta. Vietnam, whose main coffee export is Robusta, has become the number 1 exporter of this particular coffee variant, taking over from Brazil and Indonesia. Robusta is easier to cultivate and as such is favored by large-output institutional coffeemakers for instant and other blends of coffee.

It is a highly caffeinated coffee with a distinctively bitter, rubbery flavor.

Not to be confused with the movie "The Darjeeling Limited" starring Owen Wilson, Darjeeling Tea is an Indian tea made from the Chinese tree Camellia sinensis sinensis. Darjeeling Tea shares similarity to that of Champagne in wines in that only tea grown in the specific estates in India can be called Darjeeling.

When brewed, Darjeeling creates a light tea and considered to have a "muscatel" flavor.

Answer: Charles Grey

Charles Grey or 2nd Earl Grey was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from November 22nd 1830 until July 16th 1834. It is believed that he received the blended tea as a gift. It is typically made by mixing black tea with the essence or oil of bergamot, a sour orange tasting, Asian citrus fruit. Recently other teas have been used and the moniker Earl Grey is attached to any tea blended with bergamot.

It is one of the most popular blends of tea.
