Although there is a lot of foreshadowing in Disney, this is just an innocent exchange between Belle and the baker during the song "Belle", about a fairytale Belle read. Later in the same song, there is foreshadowing when Belle reads a book about "magic spells," "a prince in disguise" and a girl who doesn't discover the identity of the prince "'til chapter three."

Other enjoyable lines from the song "Me" include:
"On occasion women can have their uses too, mainly to extend the family tree" and "We shall be the perfect pair, rather like my thighs!" This song does a rather good job of bringing Gaston from comic relief to the level of an actual villain.

Taken from the song "Home," this is just one example of a line that just didn't live up to the quality of the movie.

"No one's got a swell cleft in his chin like Gaston!" Taken, of course from "Gaston."

This is from the reprise of "Gaston." During the same song, Gaston and LeFou break the fourth wall by asking "who can make up these endless refrains like Gaston?"

The beast didn't sing in the movie (except for one line during "Something There" which was sung in the voice of the prince inside the Beast's head,) so in the musical, they inserted a few songs for him, among them "How Long Must This Go On," the song this was taken from.

"Be Our Guest" was arguably THE major musical number of the show, and many lines such as this one were added to lengthen it and leave room for more dancing.

This is part of the only line sung by the Beast in the movie. It was sung in the prince's voice inside the Beast's head. Of course, in the show he's got several songs to himself.

This is sung by Cogsworth during the song "Human Again," one of the more major songs in the musical which was not in the movie. He is of course referring to Lumiere who, being a candelabra, is partially made of wax.

This is from "Maison des Lunes," the song in which Gaston asks D'Arque to lock Maurice up. The line is sung by LeFou, who occasionally interjects things like this into the middle of Gaston's lines.

"Ever just as sure" and "ever as before" are also lines in the song "Beauty and the Beast." The one that fits in the blank is "ever a surprise."

This is from the reprise of "If I Can't Love Her," one of the songs added to the musical for the Beast. The first time he sings the song, he sings "If I can't love her," and during the reprise he sings "If she can't love me."

I don't think I need to add much to this. The line sort of speaks for itself. This is sung by the angry villagers during the aptly named "Mob Song" when they are going to kill the Beast. They say "raise a flag, sing a song" just before this line.

This is sung by the Beast (newly transformed back into a prince) at the end of the show. After a short duet with Belle, the music changes to "Beauty and the Beast" and the curtain falls. Well done everyone!
