1. What does hemidemisemiquaver mean?

Answer: 64th note

A quaver is another word for a eighth note. If you halve that you get an 16th note. Halve it again you get a 32th note, halve it one more time you get a 64th note.

A 64th note is not seen often in music. But when it is it is played or sung very fast.
2. Do you know the meaning of hypervitaminosis?

Answer: to overdose on vitamins

Hyper means excessive. The word vitamin comes from the Latin word vita which means life.
3. What could gedankenexperiment possibly mean?

Answer: An experiment in thought not action

An example of gedankenexperiment is Albert Einstein and his theory of relativity. It was in his mind that he figured it out, he did not make anything have relativity.
4. Do you suffer from triskaidekaphobia? What is this the fear of?

Answer: the number 13

If you have triskaidekaphobia than Friday the 13th is your worst nightmare. This fear only dates back to the 1800s.
5. If you're familiar with Niccolò Machiavelli, you might know what Machiavellianism is:

Answer: Belief that politics is amoral and therefore one can do anything it takes to reach their goal

Machiavelli was born in 1469 and died in 1527. He wrote the well known book "The Prince".

I think at one time or another everyone has contemplated their belly buttons. Questions such as why didn't they close up? or How do I best clean it? may have popped up.

This word can also mean no will to move or do anything.

If we break the word up, trich means hair, tilla means to pull out and mania is the excessive desire to do something. If not treated this could lead to random bald patches all over the head.

Author E.O. Wilson is a myrmecophilus. He has written the book "Anthill: A Novel". The book tells a story from the ant's prospective. It won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize.

When Richard Burton first saw Elizabeth Taylor that was the word he used to describe her: pulchritudinous. The word almost sounds like it would mean ugly, but the Latin word for beautiful is pulcher.

Answer: A psychotic change in behavior or personality

This happened a lot in the '60s when LSD was popular. People would take the pill and become very psychtomimetic. However, it's not always drug-induced; it could be a chemical issue in the brain itself.
