The 2003 version retains the format of an unnamed British girl visiting America and singing of her disappointments in love, but the lyrics have had a major revision.

"How Am I To Know": After seeing the poor children in London, Barnado decides that he is needed at home more than in China and decides to stay.

"Goodnight And Thank You": Ché's narrates Eva's rise to fame, via each new man who could do more for her.

"She Is Diamond": Perón and his officers discuss Eva's wish to be vice president. The officers are adamant that this will not happen.

"Dice Are Rolling": Perón and Eva argue over her wish to still run for the vice-presidency. Peron finally convinces her that she is too ill.
