In the Disney movie "Hercules", Cyclops was one of the many monsters Hercules had to defeat. Many thanks to xaosdog for info on Cyclops! Cyclops is the term for one of these creatures; if you have two or more, they are a group of cyclopes.

The main character in Disney's "The Little Mermaid". Mermaids originated in Western Europe. Many seamen would mistake an animal called the manatee for a mermaid. This animal, from far away, looked big enough to be a human. Males are mermen.

Answer: dragon
