Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This Ajah is led by a sister called the First Reasoner.

Answer: White

The White Ajah devotes itself to logic and reason, turning away from the messy real world in favor of philosophy and debate. It is the smallest of the Ajahs.
2. Sitters for this Ajah have included Magla Daronos, Doesine Alwain, and Romanda Cassin.

Answer: Yellow

Magla was a Sitter in the Hall of the Tower under Siuan, and she and Romanda fled to Salidar during the schism and were sitters in the Rebel Hall. Doesine retained her place in the Hall from Siuan's term as Amyrlin through Elaida's and into Egwene's.
3. As of the end of "Towers of Midnight", the oldest known living Aes Sedai was a member of this Ajah.

Answer: Green

Cadsuane Melhaidrin, a Green, is thought to be at least 300 years old.
4. Toveine Gazal, the leader of the first expedition to the Black Tower, was a member of this Ajah.

Answer: Red

Things don't go so well for Toveine, who was sent out to gentle the Asha'man. Instead, she is bonded by Logain, and blamed for the failure of the mission by her captive sisters.
5. This Ajah counted among its members Adeleas Nemelle, Marillin Gemalphin, and Jesse Bilal.

Answer: Brown

Adeleas is the twin sister of Vandene, a Green. Marillin Gemalphin is a Brown sister who is also a Black sister. Jesse Bilal is the First Chair of the Brown Council as of Egwene's Raising.
6. This Ajah is the only one to be led by a council rather than a single sister.

Answer: Brown

The Brown Ajah is represented by the First Chair, but the First Chair is herself only the voice of the Brown Council. As of "Towers of Midnight", it is unknown how many sisters sit on the Brown Council.
7. This Ajah's organizational structure includes groups of three sisters, called "hearts".

Answer: Black

The members of a heart know each other, but meet with other Black sisters hooded so that no one sister knows the identity of more than two other sisters in the organization.
8. This Ajah is known both for having the largest spy network of all the Ajahs, and for being the Ajah from which the most Amyrlins have been raised in the New Era.

Answer: Blue

The Amyrlin Seat has been raised from the Blue Ajah 11 times in the New Era. An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah, next in the rankings, has been raised nine times.
9. This Ajah counts the fewest sisters among its numbers.

Answer: White

Aes Sedai of the White Ajah are also known for rarely leaving the White Tower.
10. This Ajah has traditionally forbidden its members to bond Warders.

This tradition, in addition to the Red Ajah's work to gentle male channelers, has led to a perception that Red sisters hate men.
11. Ronde Macura, who discovered the uses of forkroot against channeling, was once a part of the eyes-and-ears network for this Ajah.

Answer: Yellow

Ronde captures Nynaeve and Elayne with forkroot tea, after luring them into her shop by displaying the symbol of the Yellow network. Later, Ronde introduces forkroot to both the White Tower and the Seanchan.
12. The sisters Chesmal Emry, Jeane Caide, and Merean Redhill were all members of this Ajah.

13. Annoura, the Aes Sedai advisor to Berelain, the First of Mayene, was a member of this Ajah.

Answer: Gray

Annoura is originally seen advising Colavaere Saighan, but is assigned to Berelain by Rand after he deposes Colavaere from the Sun Throne of Cairhien.
14. The members of this Ajah traditionally do not wear red while inside the White Tower.

Answer: Blue

The Blue Ajah and the Red Ajah have a longstanding feud, dating back to the removal of Bonwhin from the Amyrlin Seat.
15. Egwene and Elayne, as novices and Accepted, dream of belonging to this Ajah.

Answer: Green
