Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What was the name of the human killed in the rescue of Redlance?

Answer: Tabak

It was later revealed that Tabak was to be the Shaman of Gotara's successor.
2. Who were the parents of Nightfall?

Answer: Brownberry & Longbranch

3. Prey-Pacer recognized Wreath who bore Swift-Spear (later called Two-Spear, the fourth chief of the Wolfriders.)

Answer: False

The resulting child of the recognition between Wreath and Prey-Pacer was the Huntress Skyfire. Two-Spear was later born outside of recognition to Prey-Pacer and SOFTFOOT, his chosen lifemate.
4. Which of the following female elves has NOT been one of Skywise's lovemates?

Answer: Ahdri

Skywise has had more lovemates than any other character in "ElfQuest," three in the Sun Village alone. However there is no indication that he was ever intimate with Savah's retainer, Ahdri.
5. "They'll pay for this with their cursed blood!" Spoken by whom?

Answer: Skywise

This is the stargazer's first vocalized reaction to the burning of the Holt in "Fire and Flight."
6. What was the name of Rahnee the She-Wolf's lifemate?

Answer: Zarhan Fastfire

One of the pureblooded firstborn, Zarhan sired six of Rahnee's seven cubs.
7. What did Rahnee name her second child?

Answer: Brighteyes

Rahnee was not particularly imaginative when it came to naming her cubs. All of them were called Brighteyes when they were born!
8. From whom did Skywise aquire his trademark headpiece?

Answer: Cutter

As a youth, Bearclaw's son was tricked into an unfair trade: One metal slingshot for dozens of hides and game animals. Skywise learned of the troll's treachery and brought the bargain to an early end. As a lesson to Cutter, Skywise took the unfinished weapon from his young friend and wore it as an adornment.
9. Who is Selah?

Answer: The Daughter of Olbar the Mountain-Tall

She and her mate Malak eloped into the forest where they were cocooned by preservers in their sleep.
10. The threebond of Pike Skot and Krim had a male cub who died shortly after birth. What was that child's name?

Answer: Cheipar

Born out of recognition, little Cheipar died during a harsh whitecold not long after being delivered by Krim.
