Snowball is shot in the back, but is able to recover. For his actions, he is awarded "Animal Hero, First Class."

Answer: Moses

He is named Moses because the character represents the Russian Orthodox Church. He often tells the other animals about a fictional place called Sugarcandy Mountain, a sort of animal heaven.
